Who we are
Soft2Cloud News is published by Soft2Cloud, a software company based in Lahore, Pakistan. Soft2Cloud builds business software — for event halls, supermarkets, schools and weighbridges — and more than 30 free online tools such as gold, zakat, GST and salary tax calculators. Soft2Cloud is led by its CEO, H A Mehmood.
We started Soft2Cloud News in October 2026 because many people search for practical answers — today's gold rate, what an interest-rate change does to a loan, how to protect a family from smog — and find either rumours or copied articles. We want to be the clear, honest alternative.

Who we write for
Small-business owners, families, students and overseas Pakistanis who need facts they can act on, in plain language.
How we work
- Every story is checked against official sources or established news organisations, and those sources are linked at the end of the article.
- We write in our own words and explain what the facts mean — we never copy other publications.
- Figures are double-checked, and where sources disagree we say so.
- Every figure, date and name is checked against the listed sources before publishing.
- Mistakes are corrected openly. Read our full editorial policy.
What we do not publish
Political opinion, rumours, unverified claims, content about private individuals, or anything copied from other publishers.
